Sebastián Nieto-Parra
Sebastián Nieto-Parra is the Head of Latin America and the Caribbean Unit at the OECD Development Centre. He manages the flagship report on Latin America, Latin American Economic Outlook, the Caribbean Development Dynamics report as well as other regional reports including Revenue Statistics in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has contributed to the development of numerous OECD reports on emerging markets. His research focuses on financing development policies, well-being, productivity, social inclusion, institutions, and economic policies in the region. Before joining the OECD, Sebastián Nieto-Parra was the lead economist for Latin America at Banco Santander in Madrid. Previously, he held positions at the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance of Colombia. He holds a PhD in Economics from Sciences Po Paris.
